Vintage 1951 Hetchins Experto Crede 22.5" x 22.5" / 57cm 531 Reynolds Steel Road Bike Frame & Fork. Vintage English 1951 Hetchins Experto Crede 22.5" x 22.5" English Road Tour Racer Bike Frame and Fork from the Tottenham, London Era. It's all about Hetchins Beautiful Lugs, Not only beautiful styling the large amount of cut outs providing stronger braised joints. The Lugs also Denote model, although they can have different Geometry's. This Experto Crede is made of Reynolds 531 Steel Tubing and has the Iconic Experto Crede Lugs. I think this was considered 22.5" x 22.5" that's 22.5" Crank Center to Seat Mast Top and 22.5" Center to Center Top Tube. Size Metric Approximates: Seat tube 55.5cm Center to Center or 57cm Center to Top.

57.5cm center to center Top Tube with a 132mm tall headtube. The wheel base appears to be 41" actually close to 41.25". The Serial is H218XX with Matching Fork Serial and from my research I assume it's from 1951, maybe 1952.

The Frame has 110mm Rear Spacing. Frame & Fork ++ is British / ISO Standard. The bike is used and from a distance you see the beautiful original cream color of the bike with some fading that improves the look, The Bikes early so it has seen some years, it has 2 different touch up jobs, ugh, and it appears the black and decals were restored somewhat professionally at one point, I assume the striping is newer or was done when the partial restoration was done, it has M. Name on it, it has some rust and some of the touch up is covering up rust, and one or the rear drop outs could use some straightening, It may have Knicks, Scratches, and Tiny Dents.

Surprisingly for the menagerie of weirdness and touch up going on, It still looks Alright and Old. Plenty of Pictures to appreciate or to freak you out. LOL Touchup is a pet peeve of mine.

The Frame and Forks clearance is for 27 Wheels bike. The Frame and Fork was part of a large collection that was in Atlanta Georgia and now is in Colorado and for sale.
